There is a boil order for East C Street to State Route 349 and everything east of North Pennsylvania Avenue.

There is a boil order for Michigan Avenue from West B Street to Broadway and any customer with low pressure or no water.

UPDATE: 4th Ward Interest Letters due to Mayor’s Office by 1/30/2026

There is currently an opening for the 4th Ward Council Seat.

All interested 4th Ward citizens will need to submit a letter of interest to the Mayor’s Office by end of business day on Thursday, January 29th. Resumes are appreciated, but not necessary. The Mayor will now make the appointment on Monday, February 2nd. The newly appointed councilperson will be expected to attend the February 5th meeting of Wellston City Council.

To submit a letter of interest and/or resume, or for additional information, contact Mindy Eisnaugle at meisnaugle@cityofwellston.org. Letters of interest will also be accepted at the Mayor’s Office during regular business hours.

PUBLIC NOTICE: Local Cash‑Payment Locations Available

Although the City of Wellston Clerk’s Office will no longer accept cash payments beginning March 1, 2026, residents who prefer to use cash still have several local options for completing their utility billing transaction.

To support residents who prefer to pay with cash, the following local partner businesses are authorized to accept cash payments on behalf of the City of Wellston:

Important Information

• Bring your current utility bill stub when making a payment.
• Payments made at these locations will be credited to your account once received by the City.

Effective March 1, 2026, the City of Wellston Clerk’s Office will no longer accept cash payments for any services or transactions.
