The City of Wellston is now accepting bids for Water Treatment Plant Chemicals, including Aluminum Sulfate, Chlorine, Hydrated Lime, Potassium Permanganate, Sodium Bisulfite, Sodium Fluorosilicate, and Activated Carbon.
Bids shall be delivered to City of Wellston, 203 East Broadway Street, Wellston, Ohio 45692, Attn: Service Director, or by hand to the same address. Bidders will be responsible for mailing and delivery costs. The envelope, or subject line, containing all sealed Bid Documents shall be clearly marked with: WATER TREATMENT CHEMICAL BID 2026-2027. All proposals must be submitted on the bid form provided and with the specifications requested. All bids are listed FOB, Freight on Board., and shipping fees are to be included in the proposal with no changes for the life of the bid. (i.e. fuel surcharges).
Water Chemical Bid Proposals will be publicly opened at 1pm on February 11, 2026, at the Wellston City Building. Bidders wishing to attend the opening should have their bids delivered before the scheduled opening.
The City of Wellston, Ohio, reserves the right to reject any and all bids, and to award the lowest, responsive, and responsible bidder, and to wave any discrepancies or irregularities in the bid.
