Ridgewood Closed Wednesday

Ridgewood Cemetery will be closed on Wednesday, May 12 for a chip seal project. This work may possibly extend to Thursday morning.

What is Chip Seal?

Chip sealing is a widely used, cost-efficient alternative to traditional asphalt that treats four times as much roadway for the same cost. Chip seal also:

  • Extends road life by five to seven years.
  • Reduces the need to seal cracks.
  • Provides more skid resistance.

The City of Wellston would like to apologize for any inconvenience and thanks the community for its advanced patience in this matter.
