Jason Holzapfel, owner of The Store on Broadway and Penn is putting up a $500.00 reward to the individual who can give information leading to the ARREST and CONVICTION of the people responsible for destroying the flowers at the depot. Call the Wellston Police Department with any information.

MOWING PARTY

Ok Folks !!! On Saturday the 26th, we are having a clean up, mow and weed eat party at the cemetery !!!! Bring your tools and have some fun and do a good deed. There will be a surprise if you come and work !!!! Starting at 9 and quitting when we are done. Hope to see lots of you there. Please repost and spread the word to the Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, civic groups, 4-H, school groups and anyone you know that would like to be involved. THANKS !!!!

HOUSE NUMBERING

I cannot stress this enough. You MUST have your address number displayed on your house or somewhere so that it can be seen. There is an ordinance on this. There IS a $100 fine for not doing this. If you need the EMS, FIRE DEPT. OR POLICE DEPT….HOW ARE THEY SUPPOSED TO FIND YOU IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A HOUSE NUMBER DISPLAYED ?

DISCONNECT NOTICES ON WATER BILLS

If you received a disconnect notice that shouldn’t be, please let us know. (If it deals with a payment plan or the “catch” up bill from last month). When we talked to the billing company, they assured us that this would not happen. However, it did. We will NOT be disconnecting anyone for the payment plan, nor any penalities for that month. We will be going through each one of them by hand to make sure that doesn’t happen. Thank you for your patience and understanding. If you have not paid the catch up bill or signed up for a payment plan or gone to the water review board, you must come in and let us know which you are going to do.

Due to abuse in the past (meaning dumping trash & what have you at the brush dump), the brush dump will be closed INDEFINITELY. Anyone caught dumping anything at the dump area will be fined.

READING METERS

We must have access to your meter. If you have a dog close to the meter, which prohibits the meter from being read, you must move it. Soon we will have meters that can be read from the street, but until then we will manually read them. If your meter is in your basement, please give us a call so that we can have a way to reach you when your meter is to be read. Thank you for your co-operation. 384-2040.

LEAVES AND GRASS TRIMMINGS

All ordinances will be enforced. This includes sweeping or mowing your leaves and grass trimmings into the street. There is an ordinance against this. And there is a fine for doing so. Call the office if you have any questions. 384-2720.

YARD SALES

You must call the office and obtain a permit number. This is free. You must display that number at your yard sale. This permit is for 3 days only. No signs are to be posted on ANY utility poles. Call 384-2720 for your free permit number.
